My story
I build things that
don't exist yet.
My career did not follow the conventional path. I started in broadcast journalism, producing a political radio talk show at 19. Then pivoted to accounting and finance. Earned my CPA while working full time. Completed an Honours degree in Commerce virtually through Laurentian University before remote learning was popular. Eventually arrived at the Ivey Executive MBA, where I graduated as Gold Medalist, #1 in my class.
That unconventional start gave me something most executives lack: the ability to communicate complex ideas in ways that actually land. And an instinct for seeing around corners.
Over twenty years, I became one of financial services' most effective operational leaders. I built departments from scratch. I wrote business cases for AI, RPA, and PowerBI before they were priorities. I improved a client process from 97 business days to 6. I helped recover approximately $1 million in uncollected fees. I presented quarterly to boards on strategy, financials, policies, and risk.
Before my twelve years in financial services, I led a $180 million crown corporation transformation program at ICBC and delivered cross-industry operational leadership across construction, architecture, and insurance.
But I am equally known for the human side of leadership. I co-founded the Inspirational Womxn Award, a peer nomination program that moved entire organizations to tears annually. I mentored through Young Women in Business and VersaFi. I built cultures where people stayed because they wanted to, not because they had to.
Today I am bringing that experience to organizations and leaders who are ready for what comes next.

Beyond the boardroom
I am a professional ballet dancer and choreographer who has performed in films, television commercials, and on stages across Vancouver. I have volunteered my craft to raise over $2 million for charitable causes through dance. I run ACB Events Canada, a boutique dance performance agency. I teach adult ballet at Harbour Dance Centre.
I live in Vancouver with my husband. I am curious about almost everything, ask more questions than most people can keep up with, and believe that the best leaders never stop learning.
